This tournament is being played in the format of 50 overs. In this tournament, India has been placed in Group B along with Pakistan, Japan and host UAE. While defending champions Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Nepal are in Group A. The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals.
