The second Test match between India and Australia is to be played in Adelaide from December 6. Both the teams are preparing vigorously for this match. The spectators also enjoyed the practice session of both the teams in Adelaide. Usually, spectators are not allowed to watch the practice but this time Cricket Australia gave this opportunity to the fans.
Abhishek Tripathi, Jagran, Adelaide: India's dominance in global cricket has increased so much that even the cricket boards of the teams that once ruled the world are now filling their coffers with the trust of our team. The Indian team's tour is like a lifesaver not only for the ICC but for the cricket boards of Australia, England and South Africa.

spectators are not allowed
Usually, spectators are not allowed inside the stadium during practice sessions, but spectators were allowed to come at the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday. However, spectators will not be able to watch practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The Indian audience also performed Bhangra along with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai in the practice session. However, the players of the Indian team looked somewhat uncomfortable with this.
CA will benefit a lot from this tour
The Australian team lost the first Test in Perth but Cricket Australia (CA) is happy rather than sad because a record crowd came to the Optus Stadium in Perth and the same is expected to happen in the remaining four Tests as well. Even though these matches are being held in Australia, there is a majority of spectators of Indian origin in the ground. Despite hosting the T20 World Cup in 2022, Cricket Australia suffered a loss of 16.9 million Australian dollars (about Rs 92 crore) in 2022-23.
Matches last at least four days
Not only this, it has signed another agreement with Disney Star to show Australian cricket in India. The organizers want each match to go to at least the fourth day. Cricket Australia was not happy with the fall of 17 wickets on the first day of the Perth Test as it was afraid that the match might end in three days. However, due to the resistance of the Indian team, the match continued till the second session of the fourth day. The organizers want that the remaining four Test matches should go till at least the fourth day so that more and more spectators come to watch the matches and earn more in the form of gate money.
home ground India's home ground
When the Indian team plays a match in Australia, there are more Indian spectators in the field than the host team. This is the reason why many cricketers have now started saying that wherever the Indian team's match is held in the world, the number of Indian spectators is more there. From the point of view of spectators, every ground appears to be India's home ground. Last time in Adelaide, the Indian team was out for 36 runs but this time CA will not want the match to end early because in such a situation it will lose several million Australian dollars in its profits. The first Test match held in Perth on Friday attracted 31,302 spectators, which was the largest ever attendance for a single day in a Test match held there. The importance of Indian cricket can be understood from the fact that during this tour, the Prime Minister's XI in Canberra A two-day day-night practice match was held in which the Prime Minister of Australia also commented. Not only this, the practice session of Australia and Indian teams was opened for spectators in Adelaide on Tuesday. The spectators came inside the stadium for free and watched the practice session of both the teams. This is the reason why many cricket experts have started considering the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as bigger than the Ashes.
