MarketThe biggest cricket league of Himachal Pradesh is going to start from 15th November. The team that wins this three-month long cricket league will be given a prize money of Rs 21 lakhs, while the runner-up team will get Rs 11 lakhs, the third-placed team will get Rs 5 lakhs and the man of the series will also get Rs 5 lakhs. An amount of lakh will be given as reward. This cricket league will be organized by Samman and Salaam Foundation.
Vivek Kumar Jha, head of the Foundation, said that 32 teams from each district will participate in it and their entry fee has been kept at Rs 21,000. The last date to apply is November 8. For this you will have to fill a form which you will receive from the Foundation's Sundernagar office. For this you can contact on mobile number 7807622422. If applications from more than 32 teams come then they will be shortlisted and on that basis 32 teams will be selected. Entry fee will be taken after selection. Each team will be given a chance to play 4 to 5 matches under the league. All the matches will be held in the grounds identified at the district level, whereas all the matches of the teams selected from the district level will be held in the stadium of HPCA located in Dharamshala. During the entire league, 24 players will also be selected who will be given special coaching in Delhi and Gurgaon.
10 percent of the amount will go in honor of the martyrs
Vivek Kumar Jha said that through this event funds will be collected for the families of the martyrs. 10 percent of the entire collection will be spent on working in the name of martyrs or for the upliftment of their families. Apart from this, out of the amount collected, Rs 10 lakh will be given to CM Relief Fund, Rs 10 lakh will be given as Police Welfare Donation, Rs 5 lakh will be given to HPCA and Rs 5 lakh will be given to NCC.
He told that his organization works for the upliftment of the families of martyrs. Till now, families of 171 martyrs have been honored by organizing 7 such programs.
