Himachal: HPCL Pro 11 won the 2nd Shimla Under-18 Inter-Tehsil Cricket Tournament in Gumma by defeating Theog Dynamites by 40 runs in the final. After scoring a mammoth score of 305 runs for the loss of four wickets in 35 overs, HPCL bowlers restricted Theog Dynamites to 268/8 in the stipulated 35 overs to win the trophy. Batting first, HPCL lost their captain Daksh Thakur early, but Sambhav Sharma and Devansh Thakur stitched a good partnership to steady the innings. While 12-year-old Sambhav played an inning of 76 runs in just 45 balls, Devansh contributed 39 runs in 50 balls. Later, Aditya played an aggressive inning of 90 runs in just 63 balls and took his team beyond 300 runs. For Theog Dynamites, captain Vishwa Thakur played a good inning of 84 runs in just 56 balls.
