On the lines of fraud that came to light in the athletics competition, it also happened in the 37th Inter College Cricket Competition of MDS University. Now this matter will go to the University Sports Board. The report is being prepared by the host Dayanand College.
This competition started from 13th November which was hosted by Dayanand College. This competition was organized at the sports grounds of Dayanand College and SPC GCA and Chandvardayi Nagar Stadium. During the competition, GCA's match was against Aryan College in the match held at GCA ground. During this time, GCA had alleged that the name of student Shridhar Chaturvedi, son of Sanjeev Chaturvedi is registered at serial number three in the eligibility display of Aryan College. Student Chaturvedi is a regular employee in a private bank.
Evidence of his serving in the bank was also given against this player. A committee was formed on this and the committee considered the protest justified and disqualified the team from the competition. In this, Manoj Yadav from GCA was present as chairman nominee, Ashok Gupta as observer and Surendra Singh and Vivek Kumawat from MDSU were present as observers. Organizing Secretary Nenaram Jajra was also present in the meeting.
