A PCB source said that when the fire broke out, all the cricketers and officials except five players were at the National Stadium for a match or a net session. No players were injured as the PCB immediately evacuated the five players who were in the hotel at the time of the incident and safely shifted them to the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre.

Apart from this, PCB is not getting even 100 rooms in any hotel, which are as per the required facilities.
