During that time the condition of the stadium was completely bad. There were no seats in the seating area. When Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari was questioned by India TV on this issue, he told that this stadium came to him five months ago and he will start the work of reconstruction of this stadium within 2 months. His best efforts are to ensure that this stadium of Patna is completely ready within two years. Ranji matches are to be played again in this stadium. Due to which the work has not been started yet.
When will the new international stadium be built?
Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari also revealed that the construction of a new international cricket stadium is going on in Rajgir, Bihar. Which will be ready by next year. The construction work of this stadium has been going on for a long time. He also said that he wants Bihar's first international cricket match to be played in Rajgir by next year. He also told that Rajgir is a tourist place of Bihar and there are complete facilities for the players. He also said that this stadium being built in Rajgir will be inaugurated in 3 to 4 months. In such a situation, if seen overall, Bihar will get two international level cricket stadiums within the coming two years.
