Whereas, in the second Test, Bangladesh achieved the target of 185 runs with 6 wickets in hand, which is the third-highest run chase by a visiting team on Pakistani soil. Danish Kaneria criticized the Pakistani team a lot. Danish Kaneria said, 'The level of Pakistan cricket team is so low that even the neighborhood team is better than them and PCB is responsible for their condition. They should be blamed for such a poor performance of the team. The change in the captain and PCB chairman's chair is disappointing. He highlighted the difference between leadership and performance on the field.'

Danish Kaneria also said that it is a wrong decision of PCB to give command to Babar Azam in place of former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. Kaneria said, 'I do not know why Babar Azam was given the responsibility of leadership despite the good captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed. Currently there is no one in the Pakistan team worthy of becoming the captain. The captain is the one who takes the pressure on his shoulders and takes the team forward with his performance, which both Babar and Shan Masood have failed to do.'
