England National Cricket Team vs Australia National Cricket Team 3rd ODI 2024: The third match of the five-match ODI series between England national cricket team and Australia national cricket team will be played on 24 September. England spinner Adil Rashid completed his 200th wicket in the format in the second ODI against Australia at Headingley last week and is now eyeing the World Cup and Champions Trophy titles. Rashid also shared that he is not thinking of retiring from international cricket. The news of his retirement came after Moeen Ali announced his retirement from international cricket earlier this month. ESPNcricinfo quoted Rashid as saying, “I have not thought about retirement yet. My ultimate goal is to keep playing, enjoy it, stay fit, bowl well, contribute to victory and win the World Cup and Champions Trophy.
Indian Cricket Team Milestone: Team India created history with victory in the first Test against Bangladesh, India achieved this feat for the first time in 92 years

“I am playing every match and every series. If I am still enjoying it and performing well, I will continue. Playing for this long and taking wickets, I never even dreamed, so hopefully I will continue it. It has been a fun journey with ups and downs, and hopefully I will continue like this for the rest of my career. I am not thinking of retiring or doing anything like that yet. It has not even come to my mind. It is about enjoying the game and giving my best,” he said.

Despite focusing on evolving tactics and addressing shortcomings, Rashid remains a key player for the future of England’s limited-overs teams. The 36-year-old leg-spinner will receive his 138th ODI cap in the third ODI against Australia on Tuesday, the same figure on which Moeen ended his career.
