Islamabad: Former Pakistani star Kamran Akmal has strongly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board. Pakistan was embarrassed after losing the Test series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh won the two-match series. There is a huge uproar in the Pakistan Cricket Board due to the continuous defeat. Along with the fans, former stars have also blamed the PCB. After all, Kamran Akmal is also putting the PCB in the dock.
The arrogance of some people has led to the downfall of the Pakistan team. Kamran Akmal said that Pakistan should be ready to learn from the BCCI. Akmal's words… “The attitude of the PCB is the root of all problems. The Pakistan team is facing a lot of problems due to the arrogance of some people in the board. Pakistan should learn from the BCCI what it means to be professional.” Akmal said on his YouTube channel.
The former wicketkeeper batsman further said… “BCCI's team selection, captain, coach all are excellent. This is the reason why the Indian team is number one. There has been a big mistake in the team selection in the ODI and T20 World Cup.” Akmal said. Fans were also seen agreeing and disagreeing with the star's opinion. After the protest, the Test series against England next month will be a litmus test for the players and the PCB.
Earlier, former Pak star Basit Ali had also criticized Pakistan. Basit's words… “Look at the pitch laid in Chennai. Understanding that the pitch would be spin friendly, India fielded two specialist spinners. This benefited the Indian team. Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets in the match. R Ashwin took six and Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets. Mohammad Siraj and Axar Patel took two wickets each. Thus a total of 20 wickets. So all the credit goes to the pitch curator. Not like us, they know how to prepare pitches for Test matches. I am angry, I don't want to say anything else.” Basit said.
