Dhanbad: Anandita Kishore, daughter of Koyalanchal, is bringing glory to Jharkhand as well as the country. Anandita Kishore, resident of Govindpur district, is playing as an all-rounder in the ongoing Under 19 International Triangular Cricket Tournament in Pune, Maharashtra.
India is playing two teams A and B in this triangular series. South African team is also included in this tournament. Anandita Kishore is playing in Team B of India. Anandita took two wickets in the cricket match between Team B and the African team. Anandita's parents are feeling proud of her playing cricket. The parents had an exclusive conversation with ETV Bharat. During this, father Manish Kumar Singh and mother Alka Singh became emotional while speaking about their daughter.

Anandita's father Manish Kumar Singh said that she used to get good rank in studies also, she has always stood second in studies. He has more interest in sports. In her childhood, she used to participate in all the sports held inside the colony. We had never imagined that she would reach this level in the field of cricket.
He told that along with India's A team and B team, South Africa team is also playing in the ongoing triangular series in Pune. Every team has to play four matches. While playing with South Africa, Anandita bowled and destroyed the opener batsman. Players playing in this series are to be selected for Asia Cup and World Cup.
Anandita's mother Alka Singh said that after the fifth class, her interest in sports gradually increased. In her childhood she used to play cricket with boys. Boys used to call him Khushi Bhaiya. He could not get girls to play cricket. Due to which she used to play cricket only with boys.

When she started growing up and still started playing with boys, people started taunting her. But those who used to taunt earlier, today the same people say that we had said from the beginning that she would go far ahead. After listening to people's talk, we used to give him play items and hide them from his father. When she grew up, she started going outside to play. Mother said that we want our daughter to represent India.
Let us tell you that Anandita Kishore's father Manish Kumar Singh is a retired engineer from the maintenance department of Railways. Originally he is a resident of Hajipur, Patna. At present he runs his own business.
