Rewari. Principal Dr. Kavita Gupta inaugurated the match of the fourth day of the inter-college cricket tournament being run by KLP College, Delhi Road. In the tournament, the team of KLP and Ahir College reached the finals.
In the first match, RBSSIET Zainabad won the toss and batted first and got all out after scoring 99 runs in 14.3 overs. In reply, KLP College won in 10 overs. Both players played unbeaten for 10 overs.
Dr. Rambir Jakhar, Chairman of the Physical Education Department of the college, said that Ahir College won the toss and chose fielding in the afternoon innings. The entire team of Government College Narnaul was all out for 41 runs in 7.5 overs. In reply, Ahir College won the match by 8 wickets in 5.4 overs.
For the third place, a match was played between Government College Narnaul and RBSSIT Jainabad. In this, Government College Narnaul won the toss and chose fielding and Zainabad team was all out for 67 runs. In response, Government College Narnaul confirmed its claim for the third position by winning the match by four wickets. Varun and Monu played the role of scorers. Rahul and Sajjan were present as umpires in the match. Dr. Manoj Poonia, Dr. Kapil, Dr. Dheeraj Sangwan were present.
