Moradabad. District level Under-14 Inter Club Cricket League has been started by the District Sports Association. Matches are being organized by dividing the players of the district into four teams. These teams have been named DSA Blue, DSA Red, DSA Yellow and DSA Black. Two matches were played on Friday.
The first match was played between DSA Blue and DSA Red on the grounds of IFTM University. DSA Blue won the toss and batted first. The team was all out after scoring 104 runs in 37.3 overs. In this, Ritwik Singh scored 38 runs and Ayaan Sudhakar scored 11 runs. In bowling for DSA Raid, Harmeet took three wickets and Pratyaksha and Shahnawaz took two wickets each. Chasing the target, DSA Red won the match by two wickets in 32.5 overs. For the team, Mohammad Arham scored 27 runs and Sandeep Singh scored 20 unbeaten runs. Sajal Rajput took two wickets for Blue.
The second match was played between DSA Yellow and DSA Black. DSA Yellow won the toss and batted first. Scored 150 runs after losing four wickets in 40 overs. Mohammad Zaid played an unbeaten inning of 59 runs and Ashraf Raza played an inning of 37 runs. Sanidhya took two wickets while bowling for the Blacks. In reply, DSA Black came to bat and won the match by two wickets in 38.4 overs. Maulik Bhatnagar scored 42 runs and Asjad Raza scored 32 runs for the team. Yatharth and Abdul Wahab took two wickets each for Yellow.
Shamshad Alvi, JP Singh, Khem Singh and Jitendra were in umpiring. The scorers were Joginder Singh and Nikhil Kishore. During the match, former Ranji player and DSA Secretary Vijay Gupta, coach Badruddin Siddiqui, IFTM Sports Director Vaibhav Trivedi, Finance Officer Dr. Kushal Pal Singh, Mohammad Hasin, Mobeen Malik etc. were present.
