He said that this stadium will give an opportunity to the youth to showcase their talent in sports and will make Uttarakhand a land of sports talent. Chief Minister Dhami expressed commitment for the development of the youth.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who has created an image of simple and energetic behavior among the people of the state, also tried his hand in cricket after inaugurating the stadium. He hit a six on the first ball of Roorkee MLA Adesh Chauhan and then hit a four on the second ball and proved that he is a fire in the field of politics as well as in the field of cricket. During this, Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal, Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Haridwar Karmendra Singh, Vice Chairman of Haridwar Development Authority Anshul Singh, Haridwar MLA Madan Kaushik, Ranipur MLA Adesh Chauhan, former Cabinet Minister Swami Yatishwaranand, former MLA Suresh Rathore, District President Sandeep Goyal, former MLA Sanjay Gupta were present.
The youth of both our country and state
Earlier, the Chief Minister said that today a new faith will be awakened in the youth towards sports and the day is not far when Uttarakhand will be known as 'Land of Sports Talents' along with Devbhoomi.
He said that both our country and state are young, the ambitions of the youth power are also young. Giving wings to the dreams of the youth is our first priority, every policy and every decision of ours is being taken keeping the youth at the center.

The schemes inaugurated by Chief Minister Dhami include development and expansion work of Panna Lal Bhalla Cricket Stadium at a cost of Rs 905 lakh, electrical facade beautification work of Dam Kothi bridge at a cost of Rs 143 lakh, beautification work of Chandi Devi bridge at a cost of Rs 330 lakh. Electrical facade beautification work is included.
Full benefit to the youth of Uttarakhand
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in the silver jubilee year of the establishment of the state, Haridwar Development Authority has given such a big gift in the field of sports to Dharmanagari and due to the hard work of the officers and youth employees, the stadium will be built and ready for the players in a year. This has been achieved, due to which the youth of Haridwar and Uttarakhand will get full benefit. The Chief Minister said that the Mahayagya of development is going on in Uttarakhand. We all have to sacrifice our time and hard work to complete the Yagya. He said that if the government works with good intentions and hard work, then its results are also positive.
