Hisar. Police have arrested former BJP urban division president Bhimsen for molesting a female player of the Under-19 cricket team traveling in a roadways bus. The incident took place on Friday night at around 10.30 pm. The victim was returning after participating in a competition in Yamunanagar. The accused committed this act in a moving bus. The players first created a ruckus in the bus and when the bus reached Hisar bus stand, they created noise there too and called the police and got the accused arrested. City police station has registered a case against the accused under POCSO Act. Medical examination of the victim has also been done.
According to the city police station, the victim told that she studies in 11th class and plays cricket. On October 8, she had gone to Yamunanagar to participate in the Under-19 state level women's cricket competition. After the match ended on Friday, she boarded the Haryana Roadways bus at 5 pm along with other players to come to Hisar. It is alleged that when the bus reached near Surewala Chowk, a person boarded the bus. First he sat near a woman. When the bus reached Barwala, he came and sat on his seat and said that he was the head of BJP. Referring to his reach, he was asked to tell about any kind of work. The victim alleges that after this the accused took her mobile to make a call and called on his number. When the bus reached Talwandi Rana, he molested him and said objectionable words.

The victim created a ruckus in the bus after being molested. Other players also supported him and the passengers also stood up to support him. People beat up the accused in the bus. After this, when the bus reached Hisar bus stand, here too the players created a ruckus and called the police on the spot. The police caught the accused and took him to the police station. During this time his family members had also arrived.
On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused under POCSO Act. The accused has been identified as Bhimsen. The matter is being investigated from every aspect.

Bhimsen was earlier the Urban Board Vice President. Not any more. After getting information about molestation of a female player, further action will be taken against her at the party level.
