Gaya, 20 October. The teams of Gaya, Siwan, Nawada and Kaimur registered victory in the ongoing Bihar Inter District Boys Under-19 Cricket Tournament held here under the joint aegis of Sports Department, Bihar and Bihar State Sports Authority, hosted by District Administration Gaya.
Gaya defeated Banka by 10 wickets
Banka won the toss and batting first scored 38 runs for 6 wickets in the stipulated 10 overs. Aditya Shekhar scored 11 runs, Akshat Kumar scored 10 runs. For Gaya, Mayank Pandey took 2 wickets for 8 runs, Aniket took 1 wicket for 2 runs and Rahul Kumar Bharti took 1 wicket for 3 runs.
In reply, Gaya won the match by scoring 39 runs without any loss in 2.2 overs. Yuvraj scored 28 not out and Ayush Kumar scored 3 not out. Mayank Pandey of the winning team was declared the player of the match.
Siwan defeated Arwal by five wickets
Arwal won the toss and batted first and scored 72 runs for 7 wickets in 10 overs. Devraj scored 28 runs in 29 balls and Sudhanshu Ranjan scored 10 runs. Vishal Kumar took 2 wickets for 12 runs, Aryan Siddiqui took 2 wickets for 13 runs and Amit took 1 wicket for 13 runs.
In reply, Siwan won the match by scoring 74 runs for five wickets in 9.1 overs. Sahil Kumar Yadav scored 16 runs, Amit Kumar scored 14 not out and Prince Kumar Yadav scored 12 runs. From Arwal side, Anand Raj took 2 wickets for 21 runs, Sudhanshu Ranjan took 1 wicket for 6 runs and Atul Raj took 1 wicket for 17 runs. Amit Kumar was given the Player of the Match award.
Nawada defeated Bhojpur by 8 wickets
Bhojpur won the toss and batting first scored 90 runs for 5 wickets in 10 overs. Sushil scored 30 and Yuvraj Kumar scored 30 runs. Satyam took 1 wicket for 11 runs and Sachin Gupta took 1 wicket for 18 runs.
Answer: Main Nawada won the match by scoring 91 runs for two wickets in 7.4 overs. Harsh Kumar scored 24, Luvkush Kumar scored 23 and Adarsh Pandey scored 15 not out. For Bhojpur, Sushil Kumar took 1 wicket for 21 runs and Naitik Kashyap took 1 wicket for 28 runs. Lavkush was given the Player of the Match award.
Kaimur defeated Darbhanga
Kaimur won the toss and batting first scored 93 runs for 3 wickets in 10 overs. Abhinav Kumar scored 41 not out, Utsav Anand scored 25 and Hrithik Kumar Yadav scored 19 runs. Sarfaraz Ali Raja of Darbhanga took 1 wicket for 16 runs.
In reply, Darbhanga team scored 56 runs for nine wickets in 10 overs. Krishna Mohan Sah scored 14 runs and Ravi Kumar scored 10 runs. For Kaimur, Aryan Patel took 2 wickets for 8 runs, Asif Ahmed took 2 wickets for 11 runs and Suryansh Tiwari took 2 wickets for 15 runs. Thus Kaimur team won by 37 runs. Abhinav was given the Player of the Match award.
