Amrit Vichar, Barabanki: CIC Cricket Academy defeated Blaze 11 by 9 wickets in the match played on Thursday in the Winter Challenger Trophy being played under the aegis of Barabanki District Cricket Association at Lord's Balaji Cricket Ground.
After losing the toss and opting to bat, the Blaze 11 team could score only 131 runs in 30.1 overs with the help of Tushar's 27 runs, Vatsalya Srivastava's 25 runs and Aryamansh Pandey and Utkarsh's 13-13 runs. Bowling on behalf of CIC Cricket Academy, Sulabh Singh Chauhan took 5 wickets, Rishabh Yadav took 2 wickets, Shivansh Tripathi and Pratyush Somvanshi took 1-1 wicket respectively.
CIC Cricket Academy, chasing the target, achieved the target in 15.2 overs thanks to Gopi Krishna's unbeaten 73 runs and Lalit Kumar's 57 runs. While bowling for CIC Cricket Academy, Adarsh Kumar Singh got one wicket. Man of the Match award was given to Sulabh Singh Chauhan of CIC Cricket Club for his excellent bowling.
On this occasion, Barabanki District Cricket Association President Akhtar Aziz Khan, Vice President Tariq Jilani, Secretary Dr Chaudhary Ahmed Javed, Joint Secretary Ankur Mathur and Lord Balaji Cricket Ground Manager Gaurav Tiwari etc. were present.
