In the first innings of West Indies, brilliant innings by Justin Greaves and Michael Lewis made a strong score. Greaves scored unbeaten 115 runs on 206 balls, which included 13 fours and 1 six. His innings gave West Indies the advantage of long partnerships. Lewis scored 97 runs in 218 balls, which was a brilliant and composed innings. The partnership between these two kept West Indies in a strong position, and continuously challenged Bangladesh's bowling. In the second innings of West Indies, Bangladesh bowlers tried to make a comeback, but West Indies batsmen maintained control this time too.
