New Delhi. Pakistan's newly appointed limited overs captain Mohammad Rizwan is confident that his team will be successful in defeating Australia in the upcoming white ball cricket series. Recently, when Pakistan team went to Australia under the captaincy of new Test captain Shan Masood, it had to face defeat 0-3 in the 3-Test series. Now Pakistan team is ready for the Australian tour from 3rd November to 17th November. Here both the teams will play a series of 3 ODI and 3 T20I matches.

Rizwan, who was recently appointed the new captain of Pakistan, has expressed confidence in the team's performance here. Rizwan said here that his team had also done well in Australia on the Test tour but they lost there due to their mistakes. Because the players were making mistakes on important occasions. Speaking on the official video of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Rizwan said, 'The team will have to work on the shortcomings that make it repeat its mistakes.'

He said, 'There is no doubt that we had difficulties in Australia because when you look at the past results, you see that we had some problems there. But I am confident that the team going there now will live up to the expectations of the country.

He said, 'In the last series we played in Australia, we were almost on the verge of victory in the match there. But we came very close and lost. We have seen some things there which we will go there and work on, we are taking positive aspects from it. Inshallah we will defeat Australia in Australia.

Let us tell you that 32-year-old wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been appointed the new limited overs captain of Pakistan by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday itself. Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a press conference on Sunday and appointed Rizwan as captain and Salman Aga as vice-captain. Rizwan will replace Babar Azam, who had recently decided to step down from the limited overs captaincy of Pakistan.
