Travis Head had scored a double century
Australian team batsman Travis Head batted stormily while playing for South Australia team in The Marsh Cup played in the year 2021 and scored a double century.
Head scored 230 runs in just 127 balls while batting at number 3 against Queensland. In his innings he hit 28 fours and 8 sixes. Head had created history by playing this innings. Because, he became the third batsman in the world and the first batsman from Australia to score a double century in List A cricket.
Head is in excellent form
30-year-old batsman Travis Head did this for Australia in 2016. But after a few matches he was dropped from the team. However, Head returned to the Kangaroo team after performing brilliantly in domestic cricket and has now become the most dangerous batsman.
Because, on behalf of Australia, he scored a century in the WTC final and World Cup 2023 final and led the team to victory. Whereas he also batted brilliantly in the T20 World Cup 2024.
Has scored centuries in Border-Gavaskar Trophy
In the second match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy being played between Australia and India, Travis Head has scored a brilliant century on the ground of Adelaide. Due to which Australia defeated India by 10 wickets.
Head played a brilliant inning of 140 runs. Whereas he played an inning of 89 runs in the second innings of the first test match. Right now Head is leading in terms of scoring the most runs in this series and he has scored 240 runs in just 3 innings.
