BCCI made major changes in many rules of domestic cricket, now the batsman's trickery will not work!

Delhi: The new domestic season of cricket is about to begin in India, in which the first round of Ranji Trophy will begin from Friday. On the first day, 19 matches will be played on different grounds, in which 38 teams will participate. A day before the start of these matches, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made some important changes in the rules of domestic cricket including Ranji Trophy. These changes were informed to all the teams on the evening of Thursday, October 10, which include rules related to batting, bowling and point distribution.

The biggest change in the rules of batting is that now the trickery of the batsmen has been banned. Earlier, even if there was no injury, many batsmen would retire from the field to rest and later come back to bat, but now if they did so, they would be immediately considered out. Batsmen who have retired will not be able to bat again and will be considered out even if there is any objection from the captain of the opposing team. This rule will be applicable to all multi-day and limited over domestic matches except Ranji Trophy.

Changes were also made in the rules of bowling

The rules of bowling have also been changed, especially regarding the use of saliva. If any team uses saliva on the ball, it will be immediately replaced and a penalty will also be imposed.

Apart from this, the rules of point distribution have also been amended. For example, if Team 'A' is all out after scoring 398 runs in 98 overs, it will get 4 batting points. If he gets 5 penalty runs while fielding, his score will increase to 403 and he will get 5 batting points.
