The Panchayat level tennis ball cricket tournament organized at Gram Panchayat Harvel of Baderajpur block concluded on Tuesday. The final match of the tournament was played between Karmari and Bhiragaon, in which Karmari won the toss and chose to field first and gave Bhiragaon a chance to bat. In this, Bhiragaon scored 90 runs in the stipulated 8 overs. Karmari's team batted brilliantly in the powerplay and became the winner of the tournament by achieving the target of 91 runs. Karmari batsman Brijkumar played a half-century inning of 52 runs.
During this, JAP members Raghunath Markam, Motilal Rathore, Mahesh Netam, Ghadwaram Markam, Rajesh Netam, Sonsai Netam, Hirobai, Rajula Markam, Bindhuram Markam, Mangaluram Markam, Vinod Markam, Dinesh Markam, Kamlesh Mandavi and others were present.
