Sunil Gavaskar on National Cricket League T10 Tournament: The excitement of the National Cricket League Sixty Strikers being played in the USA is going crazy for the cricket lovers. Many famous cricketers of the world are participating in the tournament. Former great batsman of the Indian team, Sunil Gavaskar has also joined the league. Where he has said something special about the tournament.
Talking about the T10 tournament, the 75-year-old former cricketer said that each format provides energy to each other. Due to which players get a chance to improve their game. I believe that every format gives energy to the other format. Like one day match gives energy to test. The T20 format provides energy to the ODI format.
He further said that now T10 is providing new opportunities to the players in different ways. So I think every format is adding something to the game and it all will eventually come to the longer format of the game.
What did Gavaskar say about the pitch?
Talking about the pitches being used in T-10, Gavaskar said that they make a huge difference. There are some balls that are meant to be a drop-in pitch, but the ball is coming onto the bat very well. You can guess this from the sixes. This is what people like to see. This is the reason why the entire tournament has been named 'Strikes'.
