Unnao. Unnao won the trophy in the final match of the Under-19 divisional level CK Nayudu cricket competition. The winning and runner up teams were honored by the Sadar MLA.
The final match of CK Naidu Cricket Competition was played between Unnao and Lucknow late on Friday night at Nikhat Cricket Ground located in Karowan Mode. Unnao team captain Krishna Soni won the toss and decided to bat first. While batting, score only 57 runs in the stipulated 10 overs match. On behalf of the team, Anshu scored the maximum 12 runs and Krishna scored nine runs. Chasing the target, the entire Lucknow team was reduced to 55 runs in nine overs in a thrilling match. Due to this, Unnao team became champion by three runs.
Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta honored the winning and runner-up teams by giving them trophies. During this, Secondary Sports Secretary Naveen Sinha, Ajab Singh Yadav, Parmatma Sharan, Arun Dev Dwivedi, Madhu Yadav, Shailendra Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Vivek Kumar Singh, Mohammad Harun etc. were present.
