Smart replay system used for the first time
Smart replay system will also be used for the first time in the Women's World Cup. This technology has been used in 2024 IPL and The Hundred. ICC said that at least 28 cameras will cover each match. It will be introduced with a number of analytical and visual improvements. There will also be DRS in all matches, in which Hawk-Eye smart replay system will be used. This will help the TV umpire make accurate decisions by instantly reviewing footage coming simultaneously from different angles.
