PAK vs ENG: After facing defeat in the 5-match ODI series at home against Australia, the England team is now ready for the Test series and has reached Pakistan. The plane of the England cricket team landed in Multan on 2 October. England players received a warm welcome upon reaching Pakistan. The players were taken from the airport to the hotel under tight security, after which they were welcomed in traditional style. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shared the video of welcoming the England team on its social media handle. The video shows the English players disembarking from the plane and then being given a warm welcome upon reaching the hotel.

Test series starts in Multan

The 3-match Test series between England and Pakistan is going to start from October 7, in which there will be huge pressure on the host Pakistan team. Recently, Pakistan had to face defeat at the hands of Bangladesh in the Test series at home. The first Test match between the two teams will be played in Multan from 7-11 October, while the second match will also be played on the same ground from 15-19 October. The third match of the series will be held in Rawalpindi from 24-28 October.

The England cricket team has reached Pakistan after a gap of 21 months. England last toured Pakistan in the year 2022 for the T20I series and Test series between September and December. Then England made a clean sweep of Pakistan 3-0 in the 3-match Test series and won the 7-match T20I series 4-3.
