Jammu became the winner of inter district level cricket competition by defeating Udhampur.
Jammu. Host Jammu has won the title of inter-district level cricket competition. In the final match, Jammu defeated Udhampur by 61 runs. For Jammu, Ashutosh played an innings of 80 runs with the bat and in bowling, Armaan contributed significantly to the team's victory by taking three wickets.
The final match was played on Thursday in Sports Village Nagrota. Jammu won the toss and chose to bat first. The team's batsmen maintained pressure on the Udhampur bowlers from the very beginning. Ashutosh hit two sixes and nine fours in his innings of 80 runs. He scored runs in every area of the field. Prabhjot played an inning of 41 runs with the help of two sixes and three fours and took the team's score to 170 in 20 overs.
In bowling, Sandeep and Takshdeep took two wickets each for Udhampur. While chasing the target, Udhampur team collapsed for 110 runs in 15.5 overs. The team's batsmen could not stand against the Jammu bowlers. Takshdeep, who did wonders with the ball, also performed brilliantly with the bat. He played an inning of 41 runs with the help of three sixes and three fours. In bowling for Jammu, Arman took three wickets, Sagar, Sujal and Shaurya took two wickets each.
