Patna, 26 September. The final match of this season of the All India Sukhdev Narayan Memorial School Cricket Tournament will be played under floodlights. The match will be held at the Urja Stadium in the capital Patna. The remaining matches will be played at the Jagjivan Stadium in Danapur.
Giving this information, the organizing secretary of the competition, Vijay Kumar Narayan Chunnu, said that a meeting of the competition committee was called to review the preparations for the 38th edition of Sukhdev Narayan Smarak Inter School Cricket, which has been searching for talent for the last 37 years and helping them reach the international level. It was decided that the final match will be played on the turf wicket of Urja Stadium. The match will be completely like IPL, in which colorful costumes will be given to the players free of cost by the organizing committee. The match will be played on the turf wicket of Jagjivan Stadium on league cum knock out basis.
In all the matches, the match will be provided free of cost by the Bal Competition Committee. After receiving the forms, a three member committee has been formed to give permission to the teams to play and award the prizes, whose decision will be final.
Today the players of Sukhdev Cricket are representing the district, state and country and are making the nation proud due to the guidance and encouragement given to the players by world cricket legends Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Ravi Shastri, Mohammad Azharuddin, Anil Kumble, Navjot Singh Siddhu, Virender Sehwag, Mohindra Amarnath, Ajay Jadeja, Vinod Kambli and others by attending the prize distribution ceremony of Sukhdev Cricket.
