Wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey played an unbeaten innings of 77 runs for Australia. Carey’s innings included 7 fours and 1 six. Steve Smith contributed 60 runs, while Cameron Green contributed 42 runs. Aaron Hardy also scored 44 runs quickly in the last overs, giving the team a strong score. The Australian team, playing under the captaincy of Mitchell Marsh, lost some wickets in the beginning, but the partnership of Carey and Hardy provided stability to the team.
