IND vs BAN 2nd Test, The Indian and Bangladesh teams reached Kanpur on Tuesday for the second Test of the two-match series. The second Test match between the two teams will be played at the Green Park Stadium from September 27. Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Harish Chander said that the Indian and Bangladesh teams were taken from the Chakeri airport to the hotel amid tight security.

Both teams will hold separate practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday at the Green Park Stadium, which is about one and a half kilometres away from their hotel. The players of both the teams were given a grand welcome on their arrival at a five-star hotel. Photos of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma with Tilak went viral.

Strong security arrangements made

Kanpur’s Additional Police Commissioner said that tight security arrangements have been made in and around the hotel where they will be staying. He said, “Around 2,000 policemen have been deployed for the security of the teams and VVIPs. Tight security arrangements have also been made at the Green Park Stadium. More than 1,000 policemen have been deployed in and around the stadium for the match.”

The pitch will be spin friendly

According to ESPNcricinfo’s report, unlike the bounce that was seen in the first Test in Chennai, the Green Park pitch will be flat in nature, with less bounce and the surface will slow down as the Test gets older. This is due to the black soil in the pitch. In such a situation, spinners are going to get an edge on this pitch and both teams will keep this in mind.
