Voice from across the border
Former Pakistan batsman Basit Ali has given a big statement regarding the return of Mohammed Shami. Along with this, he has also raised questions on the management of Team India regarding Shami's return. Basit said on his YouTube channel, “Mohammed Shami is needed in the team right now. If India are calling him for the fourth Test, then there is no use in calling him. Call him immediately for the third Test. Your pace attack needs this.” Time is needed Shami.”

Where is the problem in Shami's return?
Mohammed Shami, who was out of international cricket for the last one year due to injury, has returned to domestic cricket. He recently performed brilliantly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Ranji Trophy. But the team management is not showing any haste regarding his fitness.

After the second Test, captain Rohit Sharma revealed that Mohammed Shami had complained of swelling in his knee during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Rohit said, “We are cautious about Shami's return. His fitness is our priority. We do not want him to come back to play in a hurry and get injured again.”
