Shahid Afridi's BCCI is furious, giving useless knowledge to Pakistan on Champions Trophy – Shahid Afridi calls for making PCB self reliant with boycott of matches in India

Navbharat Times - Hindi News

Karachi: Former captain Shahid Afridi has advised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) not to send the national team to India for any cricket competition, including ICC (International Cricket Council) tournaments, unless India agrees to send its team to Pakistan. Avoid sending. Speaking at an Urdu conference held at the Karachi Arts Council, Afridi advocated for the PCB to take a tough stance on cricket relations with India, saying that Pakistan will have to become self-reliant to take strong decisions.

He said, 'Pakistan cricket should be strong and self-reliant and take principled decisions. If India cannot come and play in Pakistan then there is no reason for us to go and play in India. The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan between February-March next year.

India has refused to play its Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan and instead sought to hold the tournament in a 'hybrid model', allowing it to play its matches at a neutral venue. Afridi said that the ICC also now has to decide whether it only wants to make money or will fulfill its responsibility by ensuring that every member country gets the opportunity to play cricket.
