Pauri Garhwal: Anay Negi, resident of Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal, has been selected for the under-16 cricket team of Uttarakhand. Anay Negi's father has also been a former Ranji cricketer and brother Abhay is part of the private Uttarakhand Ranji Trophy team.

Ranji cricketer father Narendra Negi's dream came true when his second son was also selected in the Uttarakhand Under 16 cricket team. Anay has been selected in the Uttarakhand team for the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy. Anay's father Narendra Negi, a resident of Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal, has been a Ranji cricketer. Along with father Narendra Negi, elder brother Abhay Negi is also a member of Uttarakhand's Ranji Trophy team. Anay is currently taking cricket training with Negi's father Narendra Negi in Sonipat, Haryana. Narendra Negi is working as Sports Director in Sonipat Haryana. Father Narendra Negi is hopeful that his son will perform well in the coming Ranji Trophy.
Anay Negi is a great player
Earlier, Anay had scored a brilliant 143 runs for Uttarakhand Under-14 team. Anay played a brilliant inning for the Under 14 team against Rajasthan. Along with this, Anay also took one wicket for 27 runs in 17 overs. After father and elder brother, now Anay Negi has also brought glory to the family by getting selected in the cricket team for the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.
