Lucknow, Amrit Vichar: Thanks to the excellent bowling as well as the explosive batting of Karan Singh, UP Timber Cricket Club defeated Indian XI Cricket Club by 8 wickets in the 20th Babu Banarasi Das A Division Cricket League on Friday. Batting first in the match played at Sindra Cricket Ground, Indian XI Club scored 153 runs losing all the wickets. Manas scored 49 runs. For UP Timber, Karan Singh took 3 wickets and Atif Sajid took 4 wickets. In reply, UP Timber scored 154 runs losing 2 wickets and registered victory. Adil Bakar scored unbeaten 51 runs. Karan Singh scored unbeaten 64 runs with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes.
In another match of the same league, thanks to Kriturat Singh's blazing century, Kuh Sports Club defeated Dhruv Cricket Academy by 5 wickets. Batting first in the match played at Jaipuria ground, Dhruv Academy scored 268 runs taking 4 wickets. Shivansh Kapoor scored unbeaten 110 runs with the help of 12 fours and one six. In reply, Kuoh Sports Cricket Club scored 272 runs losing 5 wickets and registered victory. Krituraj played a brilliant inning of 105 runs in 98 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes. Aniket Singh scored unbeaten 55 runs in 25 balls with the help of seven fours and 2 sixes. Satyam contributed 54 runs.
