New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is playing a practice match against Prime Minister's XI before the Pink Ball Test against Australia (India vs Australia PM XI). Indian team captain Rohit Sharma will play a match for the first time on the tour. Due to the birth of his second child, he was not a part of the match played in Perth. Captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first in this match. After restricting Australia to 240 runs, Team India has come out to bat. India has lost 3 wickets. After KL Rahul, Shubman Gill also retired hurt.
Against Prime Minister XI, Harshit Rana took 4 important wickets for 44 runs in 6 overs. He took these four wickets in a span of just 6 balls. Harshit broke the back of the host team's batting by taking 2-2 wickets in two overs. Akashdeep took 2 wickets in his name. Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Ravindra Jedja and Washington Sundar got 1 wicket each.
The Indian team has got a good opportunity to practice before the day-night test against Australia to be played from 6th December. Team India will play with pink ball against Prime Minister XI. This two-day match could not be played on the first day due to rain. Now it has been changed to a 50-50 over match.
