Three exciting matches were played on Saturday as part of the ongoing Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament 2024-25 at the Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda, each of which kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Dhairya Pratap Singh, Ritesh Rajput and Arun Meena

The first match was between Sage International School and Holy Family School. Sage International School, batting first, scored 62 runs losing 9 wickets in 10 overs. Chasing the target, Holy Family School scored 66 runs losing 5 wickets in 8 overs 3 balls, and thus won. Dhairya Pratap Singh of Holy Family bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets for 20 runs in 3 overs, for which he was given the Man of the Match award.

In the second match, the teams of St. DC Convent School and Sagar Public School, Ratibad were face to face. Batting first, St. D.C. Convent School scored 122 runs losing 7 wickets in 10 overs. In reply, Sagar Public School Ratibad team scored only 75 runs losing 6 wickets in 10 overs, and thus St. D.C. Convent won by 47 runs. St DC's Ritesh Rajput scored 10 runs in 6 balls and took 5 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs, earning him the man of the match award.

In the third and final match there was a contest between Podar World School Barwai and St. George School Diwanganj. The game was played for 8 overs due to low light. Batting first, Podar World School Barwai scored 40 runs losing 4 wickets in 8 overs. In reply, the team of St. George School Diwanganj scored 44 runs in just 2 overs and 5 balls without losing any wicket and won the match. St George's Arun Meena scored 27 runs in 10 balls and took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 2 overs of bowling, for which he received the Man of the Match award.
