ODI Match In Border Gavaskar trophy 2024-25 For India: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy of five test matches is being played between India and Australia. The first match of the series has taken place in Perth. Now the second Test will be played at Adelaide Oval from 6th December, but before that Team India will be seen playing 50-50 overs ODI match, whereas only 5 Tests are to be played between the two teams in the series. The second test of the series at Adelaide Oval will be a day-night test, which will be played with pink ball. Keeping this match in mind, Team India had to play a two-day pink ball warm-up match against Australia's Prime Minister's XI from today i.e. 30th November. The first day of the match was lost to rain.

Now only one day is left in the warm-up match. In the remaining one day, both the teams will play 50-50 over matches. In this way, Team India will get practice for 50 over matches with pink ball. So the ODI match was entered in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played under such test. Although the 50 over match will be a practice match only, but in terms of overs it can also be called an ODI match.

Rohit Sharma returns for the second test

Rohit Sharma could not participate in the first test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Due to the birth of his second child, Team India's regular captain Rohit Sharma could not reach Australia for the first Test. In place of Rohit, Jasprit Bumrah, being the vice-captain, took command of Team India in the first Test. Now that Rohit Sharma has returned before the second test, he will be seen commanding Team India in the second test.
