Three exciting matches were played on Friday in the Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament 2024-25 held at Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda. There was tremendous competition among the schools participating in this tournament.
1st Match: Gurukul School vs Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence Junior (Under 17) Batting first, Gurukul School did not even complete 10 overs and were all out for 83 runs in 6 overs and 5 balls. Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence, chasing the target, won by losing 5 wickets in just 6 overs and 1 ball. Krishna Patwa performed brilliantly on behalf of Maharishi Centre. He scored 16 runs in 10 balls and took 5 wickets for 18 runs in 2 overs in bowling. He received the Man of the Match award for his performance. The most exciting moment of this match was when Sir Anil Lokhande of Maharishi Center hit five consecutive sixes in five balls in one over.
Sagar Public School Ratibad vs Maharshi Vidya Mandir Trilanga.
Second Match: Sagar Public School Ratibad vs Maharishi Vidya Mandir Trilanga Sagar Public School Ratibad, batting first, scored 125 runs losing 4 wickets in 10 overs. In reply, Maharshi Vidya Mandir Trilanga team could score only 87 runs after losing 4 wickets in 10 overs. Sagar Public School team won this match by 38 runs. Krishna Tomar was chosen man of the match for his excellent batting. He scored 45 runs on 25 balls.
J International School vs Brigadier Trivedi Memorial School.
Third Match: Sage International School vs Brigadier Trivedi Memorial School Sage International School, batting first, scored 135 runs losing 7 wickets in 10 overs. In the reply innings, the team of Brigadier Trivedi Memorial School could score only 47 runs after losing 9 wickets in 10 overs. Sage International School won the match by 88 runs. Karthik scored 38 runs in 12 balls for Sage and took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 3 overs in bowling. He was awarded the Man of the Match award for his brilliant performance.
Players got delicious snacks To boost the morale of the students during the Maharishi Inter School Cricket Tournament, ICFAI UNIVERSITY provided delicious snacks to the players at the end of the match to maintain their energy. Such events instill confidence and sportsmanship among the players.
