Doing politics in sports is not a good thing – Tejashwi Yadav
Opposition leader in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav said that politics in sports is not a good thing. Why should the Indian cricket team not go to Pakistan? Didn't you go earlier? It is good if the Prime Minister goes there to eat biryani, but is it not good if the Indian team goes there? Anyone can go play anywhere. No matter where anyone goes, people from all countries should come to our country, those who do politics on this is not right. The game should be seen from a sporting perspective. India should go to play Pakistan, what is the objection? There should be no politics in sports.”
'Sports increases friendship and reduces enmity'
BJP MLA Pawan Jaiswal said, “Tejashwi Yadav himself has played cricket. He has always had a passion for cricket. Although at that time he never thought about Pakistan but ever since he entered politics he remembers only minorities and Pakistan.” AIMIM MLA Akhtarul Islam Shaheen said that sports increases friendship and reduces enmity. Friendship should increase and enmity should end. There should be no politics in this matter.
