In the Inter College Women's Cricket Competition of BRA Bihar University, the defending champion RBBM College team defeated MDDM College by a huge margin of 83 runs and again won the title. Jhanvi Ranjan, who scored a brilliant half-century in the match, was the man of the match. Principal of the host college, Dr. Mamta Rani, rewarded the winning and runner-up teams with trophies. Women's cricket competition was held on Tuesday hosted by RBBM College on the grounds of LS College. Registrar Dr. Aparajita Krishna inaugurated the event by breaking the coconut and introducing the players. Along with him were Sports Council Secretary Dr. Kantesh Kumar, Sports Advisor Dr. Sanjay Sinha and Principal Dr. Mamta Rani. In the title match, the host RBBM College team won the toss and decided to bat first. Hema and Jhanvi gave a great start to the team by scoring a brilliant 74 runs. In the stipulated 10 overs, RBBM team scored 118 runs after losing two wickets. Jhanvi returned unbeaten after scoring 63 runs, which included 11 fours. Hema scored 17 runs, Asmita scored 15 runs unbeaten. Kajal and Nancy of MDDM College took one wicket each. While chasing the target, MDDM College team could score only 34 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. Hema and Asmita took two wickets each. Farhat and Arpita took one wicket each. Before this, MDDM College team reached the final by defeating MSKB College by 39 runs. Along with the teachers of RBBM College, MSKB College coach Dr. Nutan, MDDM College Sports Secretary Dr. Ramdular Sahni, Munshi Singh College Sports Director Manoranjan Prasad Singh and RBBM College Sports Secretary Dr. Abhay Kumar etc.
