Prayagraj's Amar Chaudhary has been made the captain of the Indian universities team for the five-match T20 series between Indian universities and Australian university teams organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Uni Sports Australia.

According to the information received from Amar Chaudhary, this series will be played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and Bhuneshwar. Amar, son of Chhota Baghada resident Surya Kumar Chaudhary, is a left-arm spin bowler as well as a useful middle-order batsman. Amar Choudhary was made the captain of the North Zone University Cricket team in the Viji Trophy competition held in Guwahati (Assam) from 10 to 16 March this year. Amar was selected on the basis of his performance in this competition.
