New Delhi:
IPL 2025 mega auction: In the Indian Premier League mega auction that lasted for two days in Jeddah city of United Arab Emirates (UAE), there were many such legends who were not bought by any franchise. There were names like David Warner and Prithvi Shaw in it, but the most surprising thing was that Shardul Thakur, who became famous as Sankatmotak and Lord a few years ago, could not be sold even in the second round. Many players including Ajinkya Rahane, Devdutt Padikkal, Moeen Ali, who could not be sold in the first round, were successful in being sold in the next round, while no one placed bets on Shardul Thakur. Crores of fans are very surprised and upset by this and various comments on social media are enough to show how much anger there is among the fans.
Later Umran Malik got support, but Thakur again kept on wringing his hands.
