T20 Lowest Score: In international T20 cricket, it is quite surprising for any team to be all out for just 7 runs. But this is the truth and the shameful record of making the lowest score in T20 cricket has been registered in the name of Ivory Coast. This team collapsed for just 7 runs in the match against Nigeria. Ivory Coast held an embarrassing record in their ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Qualifier match in Lagos on Sunday. Ivory Coast team was out for just seven runs against Nigeria and thus they lost the match by 264 runs.

Nigeria won the toss and elected to bat first and Player of the Match Selim Salau scored a century. He retired after scoring 112 runs on 53 balls. Meanwhile, Suleiman Runsewe (50) and Isaac Okpe (65 not out) took Ivory Coast to 271/4.

Nigeria then tore apart Ivory Coast's batting line-up, with left-arm spinner Isaac Danladi and left-arm fast bowler Prosper Useni taking three wickets each respectively. Apart from this, right-arm fast bowler Peter Aho took two wickets and Sylvester Okpe took one wicket.

From Ivory Coast, 7 out of 11 batsmen could not even open their account. The maximum a batsman could score was only 4 runs. The remaining 3 batsmen were out on a personal score of just 1-1 run. In this way, the Nigerian team won the match by a record margin of 264 runs. This is the first instance of a single digit team score in a men's T20 International match. The previous minimum score in this format was 10 runs. The team has fallen twice on this score.

Earlier, Mongolia's team was out for 10 runs against Singapore in September this year. Last year in 2023, Isle of Man also scored only 10 runs against Spain. Mongolia then scored 12 and 17 runs against Japan and Hong Kong respectively.
