The inaugural match of the District Cricket League competition was played between Jai Khagaria Cricket Club vs Triveni Cricket Club Chaudha Banni team on Sunday at the playing field of the local JNKT Stadium. In reply, the batsmen of Jai Khagaria Cricket Club achieved the easy target of 137 runs after losing four wickets in 23 overs and were crowned the winners.
Triveni Cricket Club batsman Pritesh scored 26 runs for his team. Pintu added 14 runs, Saurabh 18 runs and Brijesh 11 runs in the team's account. While Jai Khagaria Cricket Club batsman Aryan scored 16 runs, Rajashekhar 23 runs, Priyam Raj 33 runs not out, Ehtan Khan 23 runs, Shivendu Singh 13 runs not out for the team. On the occasion, former Secretary of District Cricket Association Sadanand Prasad, former Vice President Anil Kumar, Vice President of District Cricket Association Vinod Kumar, Secretary Devraj Pandit, Joint Secretary Santosh Kumar, Treasurer Bittu Kumar, Senior Cricket Players Mukesh Yadav, Rajneesh Kumar, Jitu Singh, Tikku , Monu, coach Karmaveer Kumar were present.
