Kangra DSP Inaugurated: T Ten Sunday Cricket League COSCO Tournament started by Old Cricket Star Club Old Kangra. It was inaugurated by DSP Kangra Ankit Sharma as the chief guest. Old Cricket Star Club Old Kangra welcomed the chief guest and honored him.
After meeting the players, he said that it is a very good effort that youth should participate more and more in sports competitions so that they can stay away from drugs. Organizers of such competitions deserve congratulations. Players also get inspiration from how the team works together.
The first match of the T Ten Sunday Cricket League COSCO tournament was played between Jayanti Club Old Kangra and Munna XI Old Kangra. Batting first, Jayanti Club Old Kangra scored 106 runs. The same Munna XI collapsed after scoring 90 runs. Due to which Jayanti Club Old Kangra won the first match of the tournament.
Till the time of writing the news, the second match was being played between Nagrota and Kotakwala. Members of Old Cricket Star Cricket Kalwar told that this competition will be only on Sunday and of 10-10 overs. The competition will be held at knockout level only. In which the winning team will be honored with a cash prize of Rs 11000, the runner-up team will be honored with ₹ 8000, and the third place team will be honored with a cash prize of ₹ 5000.
He told that the final and semi-final matches will be played in 12 overs each. On this occasion, nominated councilor Anil Kumar, social worker Satish Chaudhary, Suraj Kamal Bhatia, Arvinder Salaiya, Subhash Kala, Rakesh, Hemraj, Kamal, Umesh, Rajeev, Ajay and other dignitaries were present.
