Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has acquired the exclusive media rights for all Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments from 2024 to 2031.
Sports Desk : Sony Pictures Networks India acquired the media coverage rights for all Asian Cricket Council tournaments from 2024 to 2031. Asian Cricket Council gave this information. Under the new agreement, SPNI (Culver Max Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.) will have the exclusive rights to telecast all seasons of the Men's and Women's Asia Cup, Under-19 Asia Cup and Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
According to a release, the deal covers television, digital and 'audio' platforms. This will ensure wider reach of the tournaments. “There is a 70% value increase for this partnership compared to the previous cycle,” he said. “This is an important step towards the growing global popularity of ACC tournaments, especially the Asia Cup.”
