Baraut. The sixth edition of Baghpat Cricket League of under-14 age group was inaugurated under the aegis of District Cricket Association on Thursday in Dilip Vihar Colony, in which Vijaybhav's team won the inaugural match by defeating Sardar Singh Cricket Club.

The competition was inaugurated by chief guest RLD leader Vishwas Choudhary, District Panchayat members Sunil and Jitendra Malik by jointly cutting the ribbon. After winning the toss and batting first, Sardar Singh Cricket Club team scored 81 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. Harsh Malik contributed 30 runs in this. Bowling for Vijay Bhava, Dhruv and Vedant took 3 wickets each and Vansh, Haseen, Lucky, Arnav took one wicket each. In reply, Vijay Bhava's team achieved the target by losing one wicket. In this, Ansh Sindhu contributed 29 runs and Sohail contributed 13 runs. Ayan took one wicket while bowling for Sardar Singh. The best fielder of the match was Sohail, best bowler Vedant, best batsman Harsh Malik and man of the player Dhruv Tomar. Coaches Sudhir Arya, Prashant Kumar, Vishal Kalyan were present on this occasion.
