Goswami has taken 44 wickets in 12 Test matches, 255 wickets in 204 ODI matches and 56 wickets in 68 T20 matches. With her 355 wickets, she also holds the record for taking the most wickets in international cricket among women players.

Following a proposal by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), a stand in the name of former Indian women's fast bowler Jhulan Goswami will be built in B Block of Eden Gardens. The proposal to rename B Block in Goswami's honor has been placed before the apex body of CAB and if all goes well, it will be unveiled during the India-England T20 match on January 22 next year.
