Jehanabad, 21 November. SAI Club defeated NYCC Club by 3 runs in the match played on Thursday in the Jehanabad District Junior Division District Cricket League organized under the aegis of Jehanabad District Cricket Association. Kumar Shubham played a half-century while Player of the Match Ankit Raj took four wickets.
Sai Club won the toss and decided to bat first in the Junior Division District Cricket League being played at Aerodrome Stadium, the local sports complex in Jehanabad.
Sai Club's entire team was out after scoring 195 runs. Kumar Shubham (60 runs) played a half-century innings for Sai Club. Gautam Kumar also contributed 46 runs.
For NYCC Cricket Club, Rajeev took 4 wickets and Suraj Ayush took 2 wickets.
The NYCC club team, which came out to chase 195 runs, was limited to 192 runs in a thrilling match. Ishant Thakur played an excellent inning of 75 runs. Himanshu contributed 44 runs. On behalf of Sai Club, Ankit Raj took 4 wickets, Praveen took 3 wickets and Golu Yadav took 2 wickets.
Jehanabad District Cricket Association Secretary Rajeev Kumar gave Man of the Match award to Ankit Raj for his excellent bowling.
