The fourth match of Madhubani District Cricket League organized by Madhubani District Cricket Association was played on Wednesday between Friends Cricket Club Umgaon and Town Cricket Club Red Madhubani. In the match, Friends Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Friends Cricket Club scored 236 runs after losing 10 wickets after playing 34.5 overs in the stipulated 35 overs match. In batting, Avinash Aryan scored 19 runs, Sachin Kumar scored 15 runs, Saroj Yadav scored 41 runs, Gautam Kumar scored 36 runs, Shivam Gupta scored 40 runs, Vikas Kumar Jha scored 18 runs, Naresh Sahni scored 6 runs, Aman Jha Nanhe scored 8 runs. Runs, Irshad Warsi scored 9 runs, Chandan Kumar scored 11 runs and Indresh Yadav scored 15 not out. Whereas, in bowling, for Town Cricket Club Red, Gaurav Singh took 5 wickets for 42 runs, Vikas Anand took 2 wickets for 38 runs and Ujjwal, Vivek and Kumar Sangharsh Siddhi took one wicket each.
In reply, after coming out to bat and chasing the target of 236 runs, Town Cricket Club Red Madhubani could score only 137 runs after playing 26.2 overs, losing all its 10 wickets. Batting on behalf of Town Cricket Club Red, Priyant Kumar scored 12 runs, Vivek scored 11 runs, Mukesh scored 2 runs, Sumit Mishra scored 49 runs, Ujjwal Raj scored 10 runs, Kumar Sangharsh Siddhi scored 5 runs, Gaurav Singh scored 14 runs and Vishwanath scored 2 runs. In bowling, from Friends Cricket Club, Aman Kumar Nanhe took 3 wickets for 21 runs, Chandan Kumar took 1 wicket for 28 runs, Naresh Sahni took 3 wickets for 23 runs and Vikas Kumar Jha took 2 wickets for 48 runs. Man of the Match was awarded to Naresh Kumar Sahni by umpire Ravindra Kumar Singh. Today's match will be played between Nanhe Cricket Academy Madhubani and Yasin Sporting Club Bisfi.
